Cartwheels from the edge of reality

Do you find this interesting? We could put out newsletter you know. ... the electronic sage could go public forum if you want. I administer, we all write ariticles once a month, and interested parties on the net subscribe to a mailing list which distributes. You like?
He replies:
I like very much -- in two, possibly incompatible, ways. I will describe them as if independent, and wonder afterwards whether they can be combined...

1 It would be great (the beginning of a publishing company, perhaps) to have a venue for socio-psychologico-political stories, commentaries, and speculations. With a letters-to-the-editor column for feedback. It would be a great way to talk ideas, maybe meet some interesting lifeforms.

2 I've occasionally thought that FSC ought to have a newsletter of some kind, but this is a better idea: a newsletter of more general interest, circulated to the world at large (i.e. future clients as well as past ones!). In fact, possibly best if it does not explicitly belong to FSC, but just happens to mention FSC's wonderfulness from time to time -- and even perhaps IPPE's wonderfulness, and the wonderfulness of anyone else we have an interest in promoting.

Hrrm. Maybe what we need is two newsletters -- I can't see how to do both those things at once. Creative synthesis, anyone?

Cartwheels from the edge of reality

Many years ago, a friend told me that

a person on the edge of reality shouldn't do cartwheels.

This was great advice at the time. I think I should fail tospecify the particular events he had in mind at the time. But I think he may have been right. Since then, I have found that it is not within my nature to avoid either the edge or the cartwheels. I hope he understands.

Instead, the idea of a newsletter about our various concerns found a wonderful title.
