Subject: my story

my story goes much further.
I say, that even if they knew how to do a cartwheel, they would never identify the curb as a potential cartwheel spot. and I say that long ago.

Do you feel me memorizing your face? many times i've wanted to push your hair behind your ears. did you know that?

and then she writes three lines to explain her apparent bold cry for attention from a young man much her junior - an impossible situation - perhaps the ultimate reason: there are places only a vivid imagination and a very lonely heart can bring you - and one of them, is with you.

if she could know
the truths we share
the lives we touch
the fate we dare

if she would see
the lies we feel
the soul we bless
the hope we sell

if she should want
a pain unkown
a slice of life
to call her own.

the images of words in front of me, once blank, once gone.

inhibition is one thing, but lack of living is another.

a story in a story
a life within a life.
